Altcoin News: Fourth Biggest Bitcoin Wallet Is Now Empty

The Bitcoin wallet, which received 113,000 BTC ($440 million) since 2014, is now completely devastated after the withdrawal of 60,000 BTC ($230 million) at the end of last month.
The purse of an unknown “whale” accumulated large amounts of Bitcoins throughout most of 2017, but last year assets began to be withdrawn from it and recently this process was fully completed.

This address begins its history on October 24, 2014, when 0.001 BTC was transferred to it. After that, the address has been used for many years to accumulate assets with periodic conclusions. After Bitcoin reached a historical maximum, the cryptocurrency from the wallet was exclusively withdrawn.
As for the withdrawal of the last 60,000 BTC, two scenarios seem most likely:
  1. The owner of the wallet decided to break up the assets in order to reduce or completely avoid heightened attention to himself;
2. Bitcoins were sold in over-the-counter markets.
Analyzing the withdrawal process, experts suggested that it was likely that some kind of software with predetermined parameters was used for this, since some transactions were carried out at the same time, but at different addresses.
The affiliation of this address is currently not established.
